Today Karl and I did some gardening early in the day befor it got too sunny. I weeded the little garden under our front yard tree while Karl trimmed the shrubs in the front yard.
We then switched to the back yard and he fertalized the lawn while I fertalized the flowers. Tomorrow I have to refill the Bird Feeder it is almost empty. I’m starting to give my regular feeders names and Suki doesn’t like it one bit. She doesn’t like to share my love.

Karl put me in a Keyack and we paddled down the weeki Watchie River. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We saw large turtles, big white Egrets and blue and white Herons and ducks and we heard a few crockadile grunts but did not see any.
Next week we go to the dentist and Karl goes to an oral surgeon to find out what is growing inside his jaw.

I finally finished the 68x72 painting of two egrets at the shores edge. I think it turned out ok.

I slept until eleven oclock this morning and today I felt great! I refilled all my bird feeders and watched the several cardinal families eat away. Suki is getting jealous of my attention to the birds!
Also worked in the garden a little. It was a wonderful past time for me. I’m happy to report that I just finished painting a Great White Heron on canvas in Acrylics. It is one of the few paintings that I have done that I feel pretty satisfied with.

Karl sticks a needle in me with my Chemo three times a week. Again, what would I do without him. Go out and eat worms, I guess. So far we can’t tell if the Chemo is helping or not. My pain does seem to be a little less.
I started painting a new painting today and I keep my 5 bird feeders filled for all my little bird friends. The tree just outside of my large kitchen window is alive with birds every day. I love watching their busy life.

Today Karl drove us to Tampa so I could see my Hemotologist and get my blood tested as we do every month. The numbers were on the high side so we then had to drive to Clear Water, Fla. to another hospital where their Lab takes a unit of blood from me and we then drove another two hours home.
We started out at 8:30 in the morning and returned at about 5:30. Poor Karl he did all the driving. My body makes too much blood and some must be taken away every now and then. Karl takes such good care of me, I really don’t know what I would do without him.

We went out to dinner tonight with cousin George and Donna Kennedy and then back to their house for desert. It was great…They have one of the largest christmas trees I have ever seen in a house and decorated perfectly.
